Get excited for ski and snowboard season! Some of the Western resorts opened early, and we welcomed 53 new members last month.

November Events
Meet us for Happy Hour at 5 PM this Wednesday at the Dilworth Neighborhood Grille bar. We'll head to the Club Meeting downstairs in the Baxter Room at 6:30 PM.
John Gardner plans to share a presentation about our race team and we'll chat about mountain safety. There will be a cash bar, light appetizers (while they last), and door prizes.
If you're interested in skiing or riding at Sugar, Beech, or Winterplace this season, be sure to chat with Aubrie, too! She is figuring out interest and possible dates for day trips.
Join us for the Charlotte Premier of Warren Miller Entertainment's latest film, "Daymaker" at Visulite Theatre November 17th at 7 PM!

Race Season is Almost Here
Join us as we compete in the Crescent Ski Council Racing Series against our 18 sister clubs this season!
But what if I'm not the fastest skier or snowboarder, you ask? Don't worry. First, you compete in a Crescent Ski Council or NASTAR race to determine your handicap. Then, you're grouped into a "flight" of racers with the same handicap so you're always competing against people with similar abilities.
