Spring has sprung. Hope all are well after these serious spring storms. We even had a tornado warning at our home last night. All is good and we are back to sunshine and blue skies today.
We are looking forward to our CSC Convention and time at the beach! Jodi Stephens, Michelle Shuford, and others are down to final details. Please thank them for all the hard work when you see them. They have brought back the Table Decorating Content for Saturday night's party, theme Woodstock. Get out those beads and fringes. We are asking all attendees to please print your own schedules to put in your neck wallets.
The board meeting will feature review of the proposed FY2023-2024 CSC Budget. Ellen Cortright has put together a great process for us to follow, thanks Ellen. This was sent out with board document earlier. Please take the time to review and have your questions ready beforehand.
We will also have our annual Officer Elections. At this time, we still do not have nominees for Vice President and Treasurer. It is so important to have these positions filled, so again, remain on the hunt for new people and volunteer to step up and be a part of our ExComm Leadership Team. CSC is in very good shape financially, has made progress in updating Policies and Procedures (plus making them available to you), and has the big Club Express project implemented.
I kindly ask that we respect others in the Board meeting (and always), be prepared for meetings over the weekend, and above all, have fun and enjoy each other's company.
