What Do We Love About Chamonix?
Chamonix has a way of making every day feel like its own adventure. One morning might start with a scenic lift ride into the high alpine, while the afternoon brings a stroll through town, a café stop, or a well-earned drink with mountain views all around.
We love that this trip offers more than great skiing, although the skiing is reason enough to go. Chamonix features more than 93 miles of pistes across five distinct ski areas, with terrain reaching from about 3,396 feet at the base up to 12,605 feet at the Aiguille du Midi. The area is known for its dramatic vertical, high-alpine scenery, glacier access, and legendary runs that attract skiers and riders from around the world.
It’s also a destination where you can shape the week around your own kind of adventure. Explore groomed terrain, book a guide or lesson, take in the views from the lifts, or enjoy the energy of a true French mountain town. For advanced skiers, Chamonix is especially famous for its off-piste opportunities, including the Vallée Blanche, one of Europe’s iconic high-altitude descents.
And then there are the little moments: fresh tracks, warm bread, cobblestone streets, group dinners, snowy peaks, and stories shared at the end of the day. For skiers, snowboarders, and adventure-loving travelers, Chamonix delivers the full European mountain experience.

Lodging at PlanB
- Double-occupancy and single-occupancy rooms include two single beds or a double bed.
- Triple occupancy rooms include two single beds (or one double bed) and a comfortable sofa bed.
- Both lodging options include a private bathroom, a television, and mountain views.
- On-site amenities include a wellness area with a sauna and hammam (reservation required), mini-bowling, a restaurant, and bar.
Round-Trip Airfare (optional)
- Group air adult ticket rate: $1334
- If you purchase an air package, you are required to get a UK Visa. Use this link to purchase your Visa.
- American Airlines and British Airways from Charlotte to London to Geneva and back (subject to carrier-imposed schedule changes and reaching a minimum of 10 passengers for group rate)
