January Club Meeting — CANCELLED

In lieu of the increasing positivity rate of covid cases in Mecklenburg County, and considering that we are soon starting our western trips (the first in just ten days!), a tough call was made to cancel the upcoming Monday meeting that had been scheduled for Sugar Creek Brewing, Jan. 10.

Thanks for your understanding, and know that this decision was not made lightly, but was made in consideration of our members safety.

TIP from Good Morning America on travel during this time: Surgical masks are found to be OK, but the best protection (which is highly recommended for airports and airline travel) is the N95 mask. Cloth masks are felt to be not very effective in protecting from the Covid virus. When on board the plane, as the air is well filtered, it is recommended to point the air outlet toward your face, so you are breathing in filtered air. While you are on the plane, do NOT take your mask off.
