Charlotte Ski and Snowboard Club offers some of the most amazing ski and snowboard trips around, plus an occasional off-season active trip such as this year's whitewater rafting trip. In addition, club members have access to trips through Crescent Ski Council, of which we are a member. All are listed below. If you have any questions, please contact Tom Grayson, Trips Chair, or read his regular Trips News reports. You can sometimes catch wind of other interesting trips offered by club members in the Trips News.

As a current member of our club in good standing, you are able to participate in club run trips and Crescent Ski Council Trips. Crescent is going International in 2020 for their two ski weeks. Trip details will be available at their Spring Convention at the end of April and trip registration will open on June 1st, 2019. If you are planning on going on either of these two trips, you will need a current passport with at least six months before expiration.

And more travel necessities:
GET YOUR N.C. REAL ID
If you have travel plans that include flights, you might want to get your N.C. driver’s license updated. Beginning Oct. 1, 2020, federal agencies will enforce the REAL ID Act, which requires a REAL ID, U.S. passport or another federally approved identification to board commercial flights and enter secure federal buildings. Get more information at NCDOT.
GET OR UPDATE YOUR PASSPORT, TOO!
The Club, and Crescent Ski Council are making plans for international trips. The council has two such trips already planned — to Sun Peaks, British Columbia, Canada in January 2020, and Spain in March 2020. Any international trip may require that you have a valid passport, one that is valid for at least six months after your return date, and one that has two or more blank pages, depending on your destination. Make sure to apply for the passport several months before you need it. More information about international travel at the US Dept of State.
