Join us for a weekend of biking and hiking in scenic Virginia! Club members are invited to attend one or both days. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the great outdoors together!
Guest Policy: Club members may bring one guest each. When you register for the event, include your guest’s name, email address, phone number, and emergency contact information.
Saturday, April 13th – New River Trail State Park
Bring your own bike. The trail is 57 miles long and made from an old railroad bed. We’ll ride as long as the group likes, taking in the beautiful landscape along the way.

Sunday, April 14th — Castle Rock Hiking Trail
We’ll hike at a pace set by the group (and for as long as the group prefers), ensuring everyone enjoys the journey.

Overnight Accommodations: You are welcome to arrange overnight accommodations on your own. Virginia lodging choices are available in Galax (~45 miles from Rocky Knob Visitors Center), Floyd, and other towns near the hiking trail. Some of the club members have booked reservations at Hotel Floyd, located at 300 Rick Lewis Way Floyd, VA 24091 (~10 miles from Rocky Knob Visitors Center
