Join us for an outdoor film showing of “The Great Alone” at the Whitewater Center on Friday, October 13th. Our event leaders will arrive at 6:30 PM, and the film starts at 7:05 PM.
The Film: Lance Mackey is an Iditarod Champion who has battled homelessness, addiction, and cancer; however, he always returned to the sled. This independent documentary features his inspiring comeback story of survival (and triumph) in Alaska. Click here to watch the trailer.
How to Find Us: Look for our group near the middle front of the amphitheater. Several of us will be wearing dark blue Charlotte Ski & Snowboard Club t-shirts with a large snowflake QR code on the back. If you can't find the group, text or call an event leader.
Event Leaders: If you have any questions, text Janet Barnes at (704) 534-0577 or Alisa Weber at 704-685-0780.
Please note that we may have to cancel with short notice if the weather doesn’t cooperate. If you RSVP and the forecast calls for rain or storms, you will be notified via email by 11 AM on Friday, October 13th.
