  Want to meet other people who love hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and snowboarding? Join us for happy hour on April 12th!

  Meet us at the bar at Sugar Creek Brewing at 5:30 pm. We'll head to the Club Meeting in the event room at 6:30 pm. 

  Parking: Park your car in the paid lot and come inside to grab one of our prepaid parking passes to put on your dash. Or there are signs in the bar area with a QR code to register your vehicle with free parking as a brewery patron.

  Want to meet other people who love hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and snowboarding? 

  Join us Wednesday, April 12th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM for our Club Meeting at Sugar Creek Brewing! Meet us in the event room for a cash bar and light appetizers while they last. 

  Trip leaders will recap our 2023 trips and give an early preview of trips to ACE Resorts for whitewater rafting, Aspen Snowmass, Beaver Creek/Vail, and Heavenly in South Lake Tahoe. We’ll discuss our April 29th Queen’s Cup event, and it’s the perfect opportunity to make some hiking or mountain biking plans, too!

  It's also time for Club Officer Elections. We need enough members to vote to meet the quorum, so please attend if you can. Current officers running for another term include Tom Grayson (President), Jace Gates (Vice President), David Stoner (Secretary), and Phil Cantelmi (Treasurer).

• Crescent Ski Council Spring Convention

  Are you looking for an affordable beach trip with ocean views? 

  The Crescent Ski Council (CSC) Annual Spring Convention is a fun weekend with members of other ski and snowboard clubs. All Charlotte Ski & Snowboard Club members are welcome to join us! 

  Planned activities include an Early Bird Party, Beach Olympics, and a DJ Party on Saturday night with a Woodstock theme! 

  Date: April 27-30, 2023

  Location: Kingston Plantation - 9800 Queensway Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572

  Activity Fees: Activity fees are waived if you stay at Kingston Plantation. If you lodge elsewhere, activity fees are $75 (pre-registered) or $80 (paid at the event). This includes the Early Bird Party, Beach Olympics, and Saturday night DJ Party with complimentary beverages.

• Queen's Cup Steeplechase Race

  Enjoy the 2023 Queen's Cup Steeplechase Race with other club members from our VIP tent. Be one of the thousands who watch the athletic thoroughbreds compete at speeds of up to 30 miles per hour. 

  We only have room for 42 people, so reserve your spot today! Registration closes on April 9th.   

  Cost: $125 

  Your registration fee covers your admission ticket, food, beer, wine, select cocktails, water, VIP seating, and parking with shuttle service to the track. You are welcome to pay for two tickets if you'd like to bring a guest who isn't a club member.  

  Parking: You can park for free in the general admission lots outside the track but need your admission ticket to get on the shuttle. You'll need to pick up your ticket at will call or one of our April club events. If you prefer infield parking, purchase that in advance from Queen's Cup. Carpooling is recommended. 

  Gates open at 10 AM, and the races are over by 5 PM. Meet us at Heart Break Hill (spot 17) for one of the best views at the track.
